MUST 661 Medium Yellow CPVC Cement

Description
MUST MCC 661 is a Medium Yellow Cement for use on all schedules and classes of CPVC pipe and fittings up to 6" diameter. It is designed for use in hot and cold potable water distribution systems in residential, hotel and other commercial applications. 
    
Areas of Use
MUST MCC 661  is for use on cold and hot water copper tube size CPVC piping systems up to 180°F (82°C) maximum, in residential plumbing, recreational vehicles, mobile homes and in industrial systems.
     
Method of Application
1. Pipe and fittings should be cut square, deburred and checked for proper fit.
2. Clean pipe and fitting with a pipe cleaner or rag. 
3. Prime pipe with a primer. 
4. While primer is still wet, apply liberal coat of cement on pipe to the depth of the fitting hub, leave no uncoated surface. Apply a thin coat of cement to inside of fitting, avoid puddling of cement. Puddling can cause weakening and premature failure of pipe or fitting. Apply a second coat of cement to the pipe. 
5. Assemble parts very fast when primer is fluid. 
6. Push pipe fully into fitting by turning motion until pipe bottoms. 
7. Hold pipe and fitting together for 30 seconds to prevent pipe push-out. Then Wipe off excess. 
8. Allow 15 minutes for good handling strength and 2 hours cure time
9. Allow correct cure times to pass before the plumbing system is tested. 
    
Storage
2 years in tightly sealed containers.  Stability of the product is limited by the evaporation of the solvent when the container is opened.
