Description
MUST MC 89 Cleaner is a clear, solvent cleaner. It is specifically formulated to remove grease, oil and dirt from the bonding surfaces of PVC, CPVC and ABS pipe and fittings.
Areas of Use
MUST MC 89 is an all-purpose cleaner and can be used on all sizes, classes and schedules of PVC, CPVC, ABS pipe and fittings. It must be used only as a cleaner, in conjunction with the appropriate primer or cement combination.
Method of Application
1. Before using this cleaner, pipe and fittings should be cut square, deburred and checked for proper fit.
2. Use a suitable applicator at least ½ the size of the pipe diameter. For larger size pipe systems use a natural bristle brush or roller.
3. Apply the pipe surface equal to the depth of the fitting and inside of the fitting socket.
4. Allow it to dry and then apply appropriate solvent cement for the pipe being joined.
Storage
2 years in tightly sealed containers. Stability of the product is limited by the evaporation of the solvent when the container is opened.
