Description
MUST MAC 67 is a milky white, low VOC, fast setting, high strength ABS solvent cement for all classes and schedules of pipe and fittings.
Areas of Use
MUST MAC 67 is for use on all types of ABS plastic pipe applications. It is widely used for drain, waste and vent systems (DWV), conduit and sewer applications. Do not use primer of any kind on ABS pipe and fittings.
Method of Application
1. Pipe and fittings should be cut square, deburred and checked for proper fit.
2. Use a suitable applicator. Apply coat of cement to pipe to the depth of the socket, leave no uncoated surface.
3. Apply a coat of cement to inside of fitting, avoid puddling of cement.
4. Apply a second coat of cement to the pipe.
5. Assemble parts very fast when cement must be fluid.
6. Push pipe fully into fitting by turning motion until pipe bottoms.
7. Hold pipe and fitting together for 30 seconds to prevent pipe push-out. Then Wipe off excess.
8. Allow 15 minutes for good handling strength and 2 hours cure time
Storage
2 years in tightly sealed containers. Stability of the product is limited by the evaporation of the solvent when the container is opened.
